K-9 TRAINING
Our police dog and handler course is second to none. We are competitively priced. However, our program is longer than most, and with good reason. The K-9 handler's control, deployment ability and understanding of his or her police dog's capabilities and limitations is imperative to the long term success of the K-9 team, and in many cases, to the entire department's police K-9 program.
A P.O.S.T. certification is an important part of any police dog handlers course. However, by definition, it is a minimum standard of performance and should be treated as such. Along with the P.O.S.T. certification, upon completion of our police K-9 handlers course, the K-9 team will be proficient off-leash in the following areas:
- Obedience
- Agility
- Suspect Apprehension
- Field Searching
- Building Searching
- Deployment Control (call off's, release commands)
- Master Protection
- Artical/Evidence Searching
- Tracking (on leash)
- Narcotics/Explosives Detection

TESTIMONIALS |
"I met Sonny about three years ago while looking to replace two of our department's aging dogs. Sonny found us two hard working, social dogs that we have been very happy with. When an unforeseen incident came up with one of the first two dog's health, Sonny stood by his guarantee and replaced the dog. I have found him to be a great trainer who is always willing to help out and who cares about his dogs as well as his customers."
